Temperament Test (IDTT)

​The IDTT is a pass/fail test.
No points are awarded.
 

EQUIPMENT:

• 4 ft - 6ft leash

• Choke chain or fur saver attached to the dead ring only.

• Absolutely NO prong collars allowed

Teams must demonstrate a controlled (loose leash) heel throughout all phases of the test.  A focused heel is not required.

Dogs must pass all phases in order to earn an IDTT Title.

**There is no prerequisite to compete for your IDTT Title**
**Beginning APRIL 2025 the IDTT will be required to enter the DHT & GDT**
